Overview:
Low VOC pre-finished STD and /MR grade E1 particleboard, unfinished in various thicknesses. Suitable for joinery, benchtops and shelving.
Product Description:
Standard grade (STD) and moisture resistant grade (MR) raw particleboard, is suitable for use or finishing with a high-pressure laminate, decorative foil or timber veneer.
Available in LFE (low formaldehyde emission) E1 – this means it is a effectively a threshold E0 rating. Particleboard E1 generates less than 1.5mg/l formaldehyde emissions. E0 grade generates less than 0.5mg/l emissions.
Trade Essentials® Particleboard STD & MR E1 Grade products assists towards achieving various Green Star credit points (see below).
Contains Ecopreferred Content - 50% post industrial recycled content - material diverted from the landfill waste stream and from manufacturing processes, and 50% reclaimed silviculture fibre, including radiata and pinaster pine from Western Australian government and private plantations. The Laminex Group is pursuing chain of custody certification for the supply of its raw material.
Patricleboard E1 is part of The Laminex Group Grenfirst range. Panels are self supporting. They can be decorated, cut, edged and assembled using mechanical fixing systems. Furniture and joinery can be disassembled, reused, refurbished or easily replaced.
Use of this product is likely to contribute to the achievement of Green Star™ credit points.
