Overview:
Low VOC fabric covering for office panels/ workstations, acoustic panels and vertical surfaces, some post-industrial recycled content.
Product Description:
Evolve is a unique non-woven construction fabric utilizing some post industrial recycled polyester materials. The product is low VOC, non-irritant and does not present any health hazards during manufacture, normal handling or use. Dispersed dyestuffs used in dyeing are biodegradable, there are no chemicals used in manufacture and no toxic by-products.
Non-woven construction means fabric is less likely to be susceptible to tearing and is likely to be more easily repaired if cut.
Commercial grade fabric suitable for contract office fit-outs – workstations, acoustic/ceiling panels, walling, all vertical surface applications.
At the end of design life the fabric is 100% recyclable – fabric can be reprocessed and reused if uncontaminated. A waste take-back system is offered.

Issues of Concern/ Red Lights?
Minor issue: Polyester is based on fossil fuel petrochemical polymer, however provided the fabric is fully recycled (after usable life) this investment in resources will be off-set by reduced material use in the future. Products with recycled polyester content obviously have a significant reduction in embodied energy and environmental impact.
