Hunter Douglas – Eclipse™ Shutters [BLP]
Overview:
Unplasticised, thermally improved PVC shutters, designed to reduce glare, heat and light from entering buildings. Suitable for interior and exterior commercial and residential applications.
Product Description:
Hunter Douglas' Eclipse™ Shutters, made from 100% unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (UPVC), are suitable for a range of applications including internal and external window coverings, room dividers and French doors, particularly as an alternative to timber shutters that are generally sourced from high conservation value forests.
Product’s inherent flame retardant properties resist ignition and flame spread.Product also has good anti-microbial and waterproof properties, making shutters suitable for use in water-prone environments.
Shutters have been GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified® as meeting minimum product emission requirements for children and schools.
Shutters are designed with pockets of air in the louver and frame parts (Polyresin3® construction). These air pockets act as a thermal barrier, resulting in improved R-values (resistance to heat flow) and reduction of heat, compared to a solid construction.
Product is available in a range of colour, frame and louver options as well as in bi-fold and bypass track systems for doors, closets and room dividers.
