Low VOC STD and MR grade pre-finished decorated particleboard. Suitable for vertical application in residential or commercial purposes.

Product Description:

Standard grade particleboard factory-laminated with hardwearing melamine surfaces suitable for vertical applications. Available in LFE (low formaldehyde emission) E1 or E0 substrate options, finished product contains less than 0.01% free formaldehyde. Very low VOC’s emitted.

Contains Ecopreferred Content- 50% pre-consumer recycled content - material diverted from the waste stream during a manufacturing process, and 50% reclaimed silviculture fibre, including radiata and pinaster pine from Western Australian government and private plantations. The Laminex Group is pursuing chain of custody certification for the supply of its raw material.

Laminex Vertiboard STD can be used for furniture and joinery applications, including storage units, shelving, wall linings and general joinery, away from high humidity.

Laminex Vertiboard MR is suitable for areas of high humidity, including kitchen and laundry cupboards, vanity units, shelving, wall linings, partitions, etc.

Panels are self supporting and decorated on both sides. They can be cut, edged and assembled using mechanical fixing systems. Furniture and joinery can be disassembled, reused, refurbished or easily replaced.

This product is part of The Laminex Group’s Greenfirst range. The E0 grade products are certified by GEC Australia.

Issues of Concern?

As stated in Raw Materials Discussion, Vertiboard is not made using FSC certified timber, however The Laminex Group is currently trying to source chain of custody certification for the supply of its raw material.
