Low VOC, solid laminated tongue and groove bamboo flooring system. Suitable for dry interior commercial and domestic use.

Product Description:

Bamboo is a fast growing, renewable flooring alternative to non-plantation timber. It is stronger, harder and more durable than most other timber floors with a hardness rating above Victorian Ash and Tasmanian Oak and as hard as jarrah and tallowood. Please see glossary for more information on Bamboo. BT Bamboo is made from Chinese Mao Bamboo, harvested on a 4-6 year growth cycle using sustainable harvesting principles.

Extremely low VOC emissions, well below lowest recognised formaldahyde rating E00. Manufacture is non-toxic and waste-free under ISO 9001 quality assurance.The bamboo strips are cut, anti-fungal and insect treated then kiln dried, laminated and UV cured (using polyurethane VOC & formaldehyde-free adhesive)

Available in wide board or narrow boards dimensions, with horizontal or vertical laminations. Colour options of natural light sand or carbonated amber. Installation via direct stick or secret nail to subfloor. Product is available with water based pre-finish. Also available raw for onsite coating.

Issues of Concern?

If flooring is integrated using the direct stick method, a low VOC glue should be utilised to ensure the VOC emissions remain low.
