Each has its own level of assessment and information provided within the website to promote your product to varying degrees. To be considered for any listing a completed Product application assessment questionnaire must be submitted.

The listing process (what’s involved)

There are 5 important steps that must be completed for a product application to be made.

1. Tell us which Premium discount option and listing levels you would like

2. Complete the product application assessment questionnaire

Here is a quick overview of the information we will require, which the questionnaire will prompt you to provide:

Product constituents for all components, and weight in g/m² (include environmentally preferred content)
Durability and capacity for maintenance and disassembly
Recycling, reuse or refurbishment potential
Resource use in manufacture (water, materials, energy)
Emissions released in manufacture and use
Environmental impact of manufacture
Packaging and transport requirements
Environmental Management Systems or ISO 14001
Product stewardship (including takeback, extended warranties etc)

3. Submit completed questionnaire, declaration document & other supporting documents:

Submit the completed questionnaire, declaration document and supporting documentation to sales@ecospecifier.org or post to PO Box 311, Cannon Hill, Queensland, 4170.

Supporting documents include:

Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Third party test results (e.g. VOC tests)
Technical data / specifications
Promotional material (e.g. product brochure)
Life cycle assessment reporting
Company environmental policy
Any certifications / standards the product has achieved
If ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certified, please provide the Table of Contents and Certificate of Compliance (if available)

No assessments will be undertaken or product listings posted until payment in full, together with the questionnaire and supporting document, has been received.
