AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND SOLAR ENERGY SOCIETY ANZSES is an affiliate Section of ISES, the International Solar Energy Society. By “solar energy” they mean all the renewable energy sources that originate from the sun: solar radiation (photovoltaic and solar thermal), wind (wind energy), biomass and biogas, tidal and hydroelectricity. ANZSES aims to promote such things as scientific, social & economic development through the environmentally sound utilisation of solar energy and other renewable energies; investigation into the operation and development of solar energy applications and other potential renewable energy applications; the development of viable renewable energy industries in Australia and New Zealand; and the generation and dissemination of information on current and future renewable energy developments to members and potential members. |

The Australian Window Association is made up of over 450 window manufacturers and industry suppliers throughout Australia. Members of the association have products tested to Australian Standard AS2047. You can be confident that products are made to withstand Australian conditions when purchasing from an AWA member. The Building Designers Association of Australia is the peak coordinating body for Building Designers Associations in Australia. The Association is recognised as a proactive leader on issues affecting the built environment and the building industry.
Estimates indicate that Building Designers prepare about 80% of all documentation submitted to Councils for Building Approval. On average, each member designs and documents building work to the value of about $7 million every year. This is a staggering total of $10 billion dollars per annum, or about 40% (by value) of all building work in Australia. |

They design residential, multi-residential, commercial and industrial buildings providing clients with the expertise in design and documentation to meet all the stringent requirements of local government building approval. BUILDING DESIGNERS ASSOCIATION OF VICTORIA The Building Designers Association of Victoria is the peak industry body representing more than 1,100 building design professionals in Victoria. The BDAV a not-for-profit organisation, managed by a committee of volunteers from amongst the membership, whose objective is to offer cost-effective, quality, membership services and benefits to meet the needs of its membership. BDAV members are in high demand, and are involved in a diverse range of projects, including the design of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and all other types of buildings. In Victoria, building designers are responsible for the design of more than 80% of residential developments, including units, apartments, and project homes. Building designers carry out a broad range of roles in the design process including pre-design services, site analysis, schematic design, design development, contract documentation and contract administration.
