Who produces ecospecifier?

Since December 2005, ecospecifier has been wholly owned and operated by Natural Integrated Living Pty Ltd with its team led by Mary-Lou Kelly and David Baggs, and works in close collaboration with their Allied Partners.

Natural Integrated Living (NIL) has over 40 years combined experience in delivering sustainable built environments to the commercial and residential sectors throughout Australia.

As designers, consultants, educators and sustainable business managers, NIL’s services and products help businesses chart a greener and more profitable course during every stage of development.

NIL specialises in facilitating high level ESD performance in design, construction, interior design, healthy built environments, eco-products and technology.

NIL's Directors have been involved as sustainable development, eco-materials and sustainability rating consultants to some of the world’s most recognised ‘green’ projects such as:

• Tthe Sydney 2000 Olympic Village
• Olympic SuperDome (plus eight other major Olympic venues and projects)
• Green Square Town Centre Masterplan
• Brisbane City Council's new headquarters eco-fitout
• AMP’s new Global Headquarters refurbishment

NIL has proven capability and leading sustainable development policy and education experience, with its Directors having been responsible for the technical and training content of:

• The Australian Greenhouse Office’s Building Thermal Performance Assessor Course (2006)
• The NSW Government’s Northern Rivers Regional Council Toolkit for Sustainablity – A 700 Eco-product Database and Sustainability Primer for Designers (2001-2002)
• The NSW Government’s Energy Smart Homes Policy, House Energy Rating Scorecard (1997-2000), Industry Forums and Local Government Training (over 100 Councils and 1000 officers trained)

David Baggs and Mary Lou Kelly are Directors of NIL and together with NIL were the 2003/2004 HIA National GreenSmart Professionals of the Year.
